Shipfitter Leaderman

We are seeking a dedicated Ship fitter Leaderman with at least 5 years of craft-specific experience in ship or structural fitting. The candidate will direct his/her workforce in the successful fitting of all structural components of assigned vessels. This leadership role demands a focus on quality, production, safety, and environmental standards throughout the shipbuilding process.

• Minimum of 5 years of craft-specific experience in ship or structural fitting
• Proficiency in interpreting construction drawings and specifications

• Basic understanding of shipfitting processes and familiarity with standard marine construction practices
• Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team of supervisors
• Proven commitment to quality, production efficiency, and safety standards

• Supervise and guide the workforce in the fitting and assembly of structural components on assigned vessels
• Interpret standard construction drawings to ensure accurate and efficient completion of tasks
• Apply craft-specific knowledge of ship or structural fitting processes and techniques, adhering to standard marine practices and construction specifications
• Collaborate effectively with other supervisors to achieve project goals
• Maintain a strong emphasis on quality assurance, productivity, safety, and environmental compliance
