Role OverviewDue to continued growth in our operations we’re seeking expressions of interest from experienced Industrial Insulators who are driven, safety focused and looking to make an impact in the offshore oil and gas industry.
If successful you would be part of a core team commencing in December 2026 for a multi-year opportunity working in the Gulf Coast of America. The working roster would be a 14 days on 14 days off, with 12 hour shifts.
Main Responsibilities:- Apply cryogenic/non-cryogenic insulation to piping, fittings, and equipment
- Apply sheet metal or flexible jacketing to the insulation system fitted to manufactured items (piping, fittings, equipment, etc.)
- Maintain tools and equipment in compliance with safety standards
- Complete accurate documentation and adhere to quality and safety policies and procedures
- Interpret and correctly read insulation fabrication drawings and specifications
- Demonstrate the capability of measuring piping, fittings and equipment for fabrication purposes
- Must be willing to assist other crafts as required
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years’ experience working offshore
- Minimum 5+ years demonstrated experience working as a Cryogenic/Non-Cryogenic Insulator within the oil and gas industry
- High school diploma or GED; additional technical training/certification is preferred
- Hold a Valid TWIC and HUET/THUET
- Hold a Safe Gulf or equivalent
- Valid Driver’s License, background screening required
- Undergo pre employment physical exam, drug & alcohol screening
- Must have reliable transportation
- Must be able to work full work schedule and any additional overtime as needed
- Work is primarily performed on an offshore facility, exposed to outdoor elements and varying weather conditions.
- Must be able to work in confined spaces or elevated areas depending on the work scope and offshore platform
- Physical labor may be required, frequent bending, climbing, pushing, and pulling including the ability to lift, carry and move equipment or materials. Furthermore, operating heavy machinery and hand or power tools
- Personal protective equipment (PPE) must be worn at all times for safety as per required standards
