LaShip, an Edison Chouest Offshore affiliate, is seeking a Ship Tacker to support fit-up and welding activities. You will weld short beads, align parts, and prepare welds under supervision, following fitter foreman directions.
This role requires careful measurement, manual dexterity, and the ability to use grinders and related tools. Work involves assisting in assembly of plates, piping, and weldments, and supporting technicians in installing components such as bearings and doors as needed.
