Position Summary:

As a Senior Meat Cutter you will drive sales in your area to deliver to our members more of what they love, for less. You will work collaboratively with other associates to ensure the total club meets the member’s expectations.

Base pay range

$18.00/hr - $25.00/hr

Responsibilities
  • Be a Team Member:
    Collaborates with cross‑functional teams and helps educate other associates on tools, tasks and resources; communicates effectively and develops interpersonal skills for providing customer service; is flexible to the needs of the business; tracks goods, maintains in‑stock levels and controls shrinkage.
  • Be an Expert:
    Maintains an in‑depth knowledge of the various types and seasonality of different meat products; manages equipment usage and back‑room operations; processes meat according to specifications, cutting, slicing, grinding and wrapping while ensuring compliance with food safety standards, sanitation guidelines and inventory management; operates, maintains and sanitizes equipment.
  • Be a Techie:
    Leverages digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience and elevate associate engagement; uses handheld technology to make immediate business decisions related to production, training and product quality with the member in mind; adapts to new tools and encourages others to use them.
  • Be an Owner:
    Drives business results ensuring commitment to operational excellence; plans for profitability; maintains a work area according to company policies and procedures; ensures quality and standards for high‑volume meat products; eliminates waste; secures fragile and high‑shrink merchandise; assists members with purchasing decisions and ensures merchandise is properly packaged, labeled and stored.
  • Be a Talent Ambassador:
    Advocates for the department and the club; values the member’s experience in the meat area; models high quality service and products; executes the basics at the highest possible level of quality; interacts with associates to understand roadblocks and assists in training them to perform job‑related duties.
  • Follow Company Policies:
    Complies with company policies, procedures and standards of ethics and integrity; uses the Open Door Policy to address issues and implements action plans for business processes and practices.
