Inner Parish Security Corporation (IPSC) is recruiting for security officers with excellent customer service and security skills to join our highly-regarded team in the following areas:
Houma, Thibodeaux, Galliano, Lockport, LA
.

Pay rate: $9.00 to $12.00 per hour. We provide training and uniforms to the right candidates. Retirees and veterans are welcome. Full-time and part-time positions are available.

Your responsibilities include:

• Performing regular and random patrols of multiple premises
• Reporting security-related incidents, hazards, or unusual occurrences
• Performing control procedures when necessary
• Documenting nightly operations and filing weekly reports
• Investigating breaches of property

You must meet the following requirements:

• Excellent customer service and conflict resolution skills
• Strong communication skills
• Professional appearance
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Reliable transportation
• Active cellphone
• Ability to pass a drug screening

• Effective communication skills, especially in emergencies
• Ability to read and interpret written information
• Ability to operate a motor vehicle if required
• Ability to detect relevant sounds in distracting environments
• Physical ability to walk, run, stand, climb, sit
• Ability to lift at least 50 lbs waist-high
• Good mental health and decision-making capabilities in emergencies
• Must meet physical and mental requirements for licensing in the relevant state(s), and obtain necessary security licenses.

This is a full and part-time position, with shifts available during 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts, including weekends
