About the role

This Customer Project Specialist - Commercial Vehicle
, supports the successful coordination and delivery of customer projects following order placement. Working closely with customers and cross-functional teams, the role ensures projects are delivered efficiently while maintaining a high standard of customer service.

Working location: Fully Office-based, Hounslow, London

Main Tasks and responsibilities
  • Coordinate customer projects from order placement through to successful delivery.
  • Prepare and maintain project documentation, business reports and records in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Maintain project dashboards, reports and documentation, including meeting agendas, minutes and follow-up actions.
  • Monitor project progress, work streams and key milestones, identifying risks and escalating issues where appropriate.
  • Build and maintain effective working relationships with customers and internal stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Liaise with cross-functional teams to ensure project activities are completed in line with agreed timelines and business objectives.
  • Collect, analyse and report project data, KPIs and milestone updates to support project delivery.
  • Maintain accurate project information within internal systems and ensure records are kept up to date.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Undertake any other reasonable duties as required by the business.
Ideal candidate profile
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in project coordination, project delivery, customer service or a similar role.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Teams.
  • High attention to detail with strong administrative and reporting skills.
  • Ability to analyse information and prepare accurate reports.
  • Customer-focused with a proactive and solution-oriented approach.
  • Experience with in the automotive, commercial vehicle, engineering or manufacturing industry would be advantageous.
