The Operations Performance Analyst is a key driver of operational effectiveness across Worldwide Operations, combining analytical expertise with hands‑on support for performance improvement and business change initiatives. The role works closely with operational teams to deliver meaningful performance insights, identify and quantify the impact of operational disruptions, strategic initiatives and improvement projects on key business KPIs, and support data‑driven decision making.

The Operations Performance Analyst is responsible for ensuring timely, accurate and actionable data is available to support operational delivery, developing performance metrics and reporting, and translating insight into practical actions that drive measurable improvements in performance, cost, customer experience and productivity. The role also leads or supports operational improvement projects, works with stakeholders across the business to realise benefits, and provides near real‑time and historical performance insight to support continuous improvement and delivery of the Worldwide Operations strategy

• Work with all Worldwide Operations teams to agree and deliver an appropriate suite of operational metrics underpinning performance, cost, customer experience and employee targets.

• Ensure accurate, timely and relevant data and insight is provided to continuously improve operational performance (including KPIs, SLAs, and productivity metrics).

• Analyse performance data trends and conduct root cause analysis to identify prioritised opportunities for improvement.

• Identify trends, risks, and opportunities for performance improvement.

• Develop and maintain dashboards that provide real‑time visibility into operational performance.

• Drive improvements through more efficient reporting using automation.

• Identify gaps in data availability and propose practical solutions.

• Partner with operational teams to develop, implement and track performance improvement initiatives, ensuring actions are delivered and benefits realised.

• Scope and lead or support improvement projects as required.

• Provide hands‑on support to operational and strategic projects, helping to identify issues, coordinate actions and drive delivery of business objectives.

• Contribute to the definition, elaboration, communication and implementation of the Worldwide Operations strategy, taking into account trends, technology and business data.

• Represent Worldwide Operations across IAG Cargo to ensure operational data requirements are clear and delivered.

• Act as the interface between Worldwide Operations and the IAG Cargo Data & Analytics teams to support provision and validation of data, metric development and data visualisation.
