DT and Food Technology Technician – Hounslow

This is a great opportunity to join a growing and ambitious secondary school as a DT and Food Technology Technician, supporting the delivery of practical, high-quality learning across Design Technology and Food Technology.

You’ll play a key role in preparing resources, setting up equipment, and ensuring lessons run smoothly, working closely with teaching staff in a collaborative and well-resourced department.

The school is an 11–18 setting rated Good by Ofsted, with a strong track record of improvement and a clear focus on both academic success and personal development. Student numbers have grown year on year, with the school now full across all year groups, reflecting a positive culture and strong community reputation.

• Preparing materials, tools, and equipment for practical lessons
• Supporting teaching staff during lessons where required
• Maintaining equipment and ensuring health and safety standards are met
• Supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the DT and Food Technology departments

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
