As a School Librarian, you will support the day-to-day running of the school library, ensuring it remains a well-organised, welcoming, and effective learning space for students and staff.

Key responsibilities include:

Managing and organising library resources and materials
Supporting students with reading, research, and library use
Assisting teaching staff with access to learning resources
Maintaining a calm, professional, and inclusive library environment
Supporting literacy and independent learning where required

Requirements:

Previous school librarian or library-based experience is essential
Strong organisational and communication skills
Confidence working with children and young people
Professional, reliable, and punctual
A genuine interest in education and supporting student learning
Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
Right to work in the UK
Relevant professional references
