Nursery Teacher

Chiswick, Hounslow. Full‑Time | September 2026 Start | Long‑Term. Outer London Pay Scale: £38,766 – £60,092

A highly regarded 1‑form entry primary school in Chiswick is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Nursery Teacher to join their Early Years team from September 2026 on a full‑time, long‑term basis.

This is an excellent opportunity to teach in a well‑resourced Nursery setting with a class of just 12 children, supported by a dedicated Teaching Assistant. The school is looking for a practitioner who is passionate about early childhood education and can provide high‑quality learning experiences that help children develop confidence, independence, and a love of learning.

The Role

The successful candidate will:

  • Lead the Nursery class from September 2026
  • Deliver engaging and developmentally appropriate learning opportunities in line with the EYFS Framework
  • Create a nurturing and stimulating learning environment
  • Support children's communication, language, social, and emotional development
  • Work closely with support staff and families to ensure positive outcomes for all children
  • Monitor and assess progress effectively and use assessment to inform planning
The Ideal Candidate

The school is looking for a teacher who:

  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Early Years Teacher Status (EYTS)
  • Has experience teaching within Nursery or Early Years settings
  • Has a strong understanding of child development and the EYFS curriculum
  • Can create engaging learning experiences both indoors and outdoors
  • Builds positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues
  • Has high expectations for children's learning and development
