Experience English Teacher/ECT English Teacher required for a permanent role at a 'Good' graded secondary school in the borough of Hounslow.

• MPS/UPS3 Outer London Pay Scale (TLR possible for the right candidate)
• Permanent full‑time contract starting September 2026

This diverse, 'Good' secondary school is looking for an experienced English teacher or Early Careers Teacher (ECT) to join the English Department from September 2026. The successful candidate will confidently plan, prepare and conduct lessons, set suitable learning objectives for the key stages and create a safe and enjoyable learning environment.

Our well‑established secondary school, graded 'Good', delivers outstanding GCSE and A Level results thanks to outstanding lessons and excellent resources and facilities. Behaviour management procedures are in place and we maintain a supportive environment for students, engaging them through varied teaching methods and extracurricular activities.

• Plan, prepare and deliver lessons across appropriate key stages.
• Set learning objectives and assess progress.
• Create a safe, engaging learning environment.
• Collaborate with colleagues and support student behaviour management.
• Participate in professional development and induction activities.

• Qualified English teacher or ECT currently completing a PGCE/SCITT course.
• Experience in teaching or an ability to work as an early careers teacher.
• Strong communication, organisational and classroom management skills.
