About the roleThis is your chance to design engaging lessons, guide students' progress, and work with skilled colleagues who share your commitment to great teaching. You'll help create a curriculum that inspires curiosity, supports individual needs, and builds a love of learning across our school community. What kind of impact could you have on the young people you teach?
Key responsibilities- Plan and teach lessons with clear learning aims, appropriate challenge, and activities that build on what students already know
- Adapt your teaching to meet the needs of all students, including those with SEND, high ability learners, and those with English as an additional language
- Use assessment and feedback to help students reflect on their progress and address any gaps in understanding
- Build a positive classroom culture with clear routines, high expectations, and respectful relationships
- Work closely with colleagues, support staff, and parents to ensure every student feels valued and supported
You’ll have Qualified Teacher Status and a degree in a relevant subject. You’ll bring good IT skills, a secure understanding of your curriculum area, and a genuine passion for helping students achieve.
