A structural steel specialist is currently looking for a permanent Trainee Tekla Detailer / Draughtsman to produce accurate 3D steel models and fabrication drawings while training alongside experienced detailers in London.
Start Date: Immediate
Salary: £30,000 - £34,000 per annum (DOE) + monthly performance bonus
Contract: Permanent
- Learn to create detailed 3D steel models using Tekla Structures
- Produce fabrication drawings in line with company standards
- Assist with project coordination alongside senior detailers
- Communicate with clients, engineers and architects
- Liaise with suppliers when required
- Support multiple projects and deadlines
- Degree or HND/HNC in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Construction or similar (preferred)
- Experience with Tekla Structures or other CAD software advantageous
- Strong attention to detail and good communication skills
- Organised, eager to learn, with a positive attitude
