Finance & Transformation team at British Airways

What you’ll do:

• Drive and continuously improve BA’s financial control framework, ensuring itremainsrobust, fit forpurposeand aligned to business processes
• Partner with senior leaders and IAG to implement group control requirements, while reporting control performance and key risks to leadership and the Board
• Collaborate closely with Finance and IT to strengthen controls across finance systems and support delivery of key control initiatives
• Own the monitoring and resolution of External
  
  Audit,Internal Auditandothercompliance actions, ensuring issues are addressed and governance standards are upheld
• Supervise and improve business-wide controls, including Employee Approval Authority frameworks, while supporting training and audit activity

Your experience:

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or equivalent
• Experience in a complex business, audit or controls role
• Strong understanding of financial controls and audit processes
• Experience working with IT on finance systems
• Familiarity with SAP, BWise or Surecloud (desirable)
• Proven stakeholder management skills
