Finance Analyst (6-Month FTC)

Heathrow Area | Office-Based (5 Days Per Week) £45,000 - £50,000 Pro Rata

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a commercially focused Finance Analyst to join a well-established business on a 6-month fixed-term contract. This is a newly created role that offers significant exposure to senior leadership and the chance to contribute to key strategic and commercial initiatives.

Reporting into the FP&A Manager, you will play a key role in budgeting, forecasting, financial modelling, business case evaluation and performance analysis. This position is ideally suited to a finance professional who enjoys working closely with operational stakeholders, driving improvements and using data to influence decision-making.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Delivering weekly and monthly volume, revenue and performance forecasting
• Supporting annual budgeting and periodic reforecasting processes
• Reviewing Capex and Opex business cases and tracking realised benefits
• Analysing financial and operational performance against budget and forecast
• Identifying trends, risks and opportunities to support commercial decision-making
• Monitoring cost-saving and revenue-generating initiatives across the business
• Producing headcount and workforce planning models
• Partnering with procurement and operational teams to assess commercial impacts
• Supporting cashflow forecasting and scenario analysis
• Improving financial processes, controls and reporting capabilities
• Assisting senior finance leadership on ad hoc strategic projects

• ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified, or a strong finalist
• Previous experience in a Finance Analyst, FP&A or Commercial Finance role
• Strong commercial awareness and stakeholder management skills
• Advanced Excel and financial modelling capabilities
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
• Experience with Power BI, Power Query or finance systems would be advantageous
• Keen interest in systems, automation and process improvement
