Housing Standards Officer
One of my local authority clients based in the South West is currently searching for an experienced Housing Standards Officer to join their existing housing team.
Schedule:
Minimum 3 days on site/in office, remaining days spent remotely.
- Investigate possible housing offences for breaching HHSRS.
- Draft and service statutory Notices and Orders under housing legislation.
- Carry out routine HMO inspections and respond to housing related complaints.
- Respond to general housing complaints and service requests.
Recent previous experience conducting HHSRS inspections (minimum 2 years) within a local authority setting is essential.
