Position: Locum Consultant Microbiology Required For 12 Months Contract In South West England

National Locums are currently recruiting for a Locum Microbiology Consultant to join the excellent pathology team in Cornwall.

On behalf of a hospital located in South West England, we are seeking an experienced Microbiology Consultant for up to 12 months of locum cover.

Requirements:

Full registration and a Licence to Practice with the General Medical Council

Completed postgraduate training (or equivalent) in Infectious Diseases or Microbiology, gained on a full-time, part-time, or flexible basis, or equivalent experience and competencies

Minimum 1 year NHS experience or 3 years non-UK Consultant experience

Commitment to team working and career development

Self-motivated, proactive, and innovative

Ability to prioritize work and adapt to change and uncertainty

Excellent oral and written communication skills

FRCPath or UK CCT completed
