DevSec Ops Team Lead

Overview

We're seeking an experienced manager to lead our Dev Sec Ops  tooling team. You'll help maintain and design the next iteration of application security tooling. Working in partnership with leaders at Comcast, you'll guide cross-functional efforts at enterprise scale. As the team lead of App Sec Tooling, you'll oversee software that helps catalogue and prioritise vulnerability data, leveraging AI where possible to create performance multipliers.

• Own and maintain the stability and scaling of our App Sec tooling platforms.
• Manage day-to-day operations for the team and partner with stakeholders to translate needs into a prioritized roadmap.
• Lead with strong technical expertise in software development life cycles and Dev Sec Ops  best practices.
• Provide proven people leadership to motivate high-performing teams and foster a collaborative culture.
• Manage stakeholder relationships with credibility to build trust at all levels.
• Deliver service excellence while balancing competing priorities and addressing immediate risks; demonstrate strong technical capability with hands‑on experience using security tooling (SAST, SCA, container scanning), CI/CD pipelines and modern SDLC practices.
• Familiarity with risk-based vulnerability management and prioritisation.
• Deep understanding of Dev Sec Ops  methodologies, including continuous monitoring and automated security testing.
• Experience using AI to improve efficiency in security workflows.

• Proven leadership experience managing security tooling teams.
• Hands-on experience with SAST, SCA, container scanning, CI/CD pipelines, and modern SDLC practices.
• Knowledge of risk-based vulnerability management and prioritisation.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills across multiple levels of the organization.
• Deep understanding of Dev Sec Ops  methodologies, including continuous monitoring and automated security testing.
