An opportunity for a Technical Manager to join a well‑established residential developer delivering a major housing scheme in South West London. Based on a live project, you’ll take full ownership of technical design coordination across a large‑scale residential development, overseeing consultants, managing design risk, and ensuring technical delivery from pre‑construction through to site delivery and handover.

• Lead and manage the technical delivery of a large residential scheme from pre‑construction through construction
• Coordinate architects, structural and MEP engineers, and specialist consultants
• Manage planning conditions, building regulations compliance, and technical approvals
• Oversee design development, technical queries, and design risk management
• Review and manage consultant information to ensure buildability and cost certainty
• Support construction teams with technical input during delivery
• Maintain design programmes, technical documentation, and approvals schedules
• Ensure quality, compliance, and design intent are maintained throughout the project lifecycle

• 7+ years’ experience in a Technical Manager / Senior Technical Manager role
• Strong background in residential‑led developments (mixed‑use exposure beneficial)
• Proven experience managing consultant teams on medium to large‑scale housing schemes
• Solid understanding of UK Building Regulations, NHBC, and planning processes
• Confident dealing with internal stakeholders, consultants, and site teams
• Organised, proactive, and commercially aware with a hands‑on approach to problem solving
