We're recruiting an Assistant Store Manager to join our Vision Express Sutton store. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Supervisor, Team Leader or Deputy Manager who enjoys working in a fast-paced customer-facing environment and knows how to get the best from a team.
Optics experience isn't essential. We're looking for a confident leader who can motivate colleagues, deliver outstanding customer service and support the Store Manager in driving store performance.
What You'll Do- Support the Store Manager with the day-to-day running of the store
- Lead, coach and develop colleagues
- Deliver exceptional customer experiences
- Drive sales performance and key store KPIs
- Support recruitment, onboarding and colleague engagement
- Maintain high operational and compliance standards
- Take ownership of the store when the Store Manager is absent
- Adapt quickly in a busy retail environment
- Experience as an Assistant Store Manager, Deputy Manager, Supervisor or Team Leader
- Strong leadership and coaching skills
- Experience motivating teams to achieve results
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Commercial awareness and confidence using KPIs
- A proactive, adaptable approach
- Optical experience is beneficial but not required
- £350 towards frames or designer sunglasses, with unlimited spend on lenses
