Location Field-based across London Field sales reporting to Head of Sales The opportunity Our client is a high-quality, multi-award-winning relocation and storage company based in London, and are growing.
They're looking for a Surveyor to come and be a driving force in the sales team someone who can get in front of as many prospective clients as possible, show them exactly how we'll meet their needs, and turn that confidence into closed business. This is a relationship role as much as a sales one. You'll be the face of the company on every survey: building trust, spotting opportunities sensitively, and managing the whole journey from first visit through to signed deal.
Reporting to the Head of Sales, you'll handle site, video and email surveys, position the service, follow up, and close with full support from the Move Manager team. What you'll be doing Carrying out surveys (around 80% on-site, 20% video when needed) across domestic (75%), commercial (15%) and overseas (10%) moves. Completing up to 6 surveys a day around 30 a week.
Upselling additional services wherever there's a genuine fit. Producing accurate, detailed survey notes and reports, and liaising with the Move Manager so every quote reflects exactly what the client needs. Owning the follow-up process negotiating and closing, with Move Manager support, and keeping the database fully up to date. Attending sales meetings, flagging leads of interest, and building lasting relationships with new and existing clients.
Working in line with company health & safety policies and processes throughout. What we're looking for A track record of hitting and beating targets in a sales-driven environment. Knowledge of surveying or estimating domestic and commercial removals. Strong verbal, written and presentation skills you can hold the room with any kind of client. Excellent organisation and a sharp eye for detail.
Well-presented and well-spoken; a natural ambassador for the brand. Strong time management, admin and numeracy. Solid knowledge of London. Discretion and professionalism, with a real understanding of confidentiality. Flexibility to adapt as the business grows, and a willingness to learn and share best practice.
