Hours: 42 hours per week:
Working 4 on, 4 off, nights only, including weekends & bank holidays nights

Join our team as a Security Officer and play a vital role in protecting people, property, and assets while delivering exceptional customer service. You will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment through regular patrols, monitoring CCTV and alarm systems, controlling site access, and responding to security incidents. A proactive and professional approach is essential, with a strong commitment to integrity, vigilance, and helpfulness
In this role as a Security Officer
, you will manage visitor and contractor access, carry out routine equipment checks, support traffic and parking management, and maintain accurate security records and logs. You will also assist with key management, locking and unlocking procedures, and ensure all security processes are followed in line with site instructions.

Job DescriptionResponsibilities
You’ll play a vital part in keeping people, property, and information safe. That includes:
- Prevent and deter unauthorised access to site. Monitor fire alarms, intruder alarms and CCTV as appropriate
- Conduct external and internal security patrols as detailed in the Assignment Instructions
- Carry out routine tests of security equipment where appropriate
- Manage keys and perform locking and unlocking duties as detailed in the Assignment Instructions
- Maintain all logbooks and records as detailed in the Assignment Instructions
- Issue visitor/contractor passes in accordance with the Assignment Instructions
- Provide support, guidance and information to all staff, visitors and contractors whilst ensuring safeguarding of the premises

QualificationsWhat we’re looking for:
We’re looking for someone who sees a different world—someone who values teamwork, shows initiative, and wants to grow. Ideally, you’ll have:
- A valid SIA licence
- Flexibility to work nights & weekends
- Previous experience in a security, facilities or customer service environment
- Basic IT skills and the ability to use access control, CCTV and incident management systems
- The right to work in the UK, with a 5-year checkable history
- Strong observational skills with the ability to to identify and respond to security incidents promptly and effectively
- Reliable and punctual
- Strong communication skills in English—both written and spoken
