Vehicle Inspector

Overview

Vehicle Inspector role at Videalert (NSL, part of Marston Holdings Limited) — full-time, permanent.

NSL, part of Marston Holdings Ltd., provides outsourced parking and street management solutions to the public and private sectors.

• Inspect Taxis and Private Hire Vehicles to meet TfL licensing criteria
• Record inspection findings using PCs and handheld computers
• Liaise with customers, offering test feedback, advice, and guidance in terms of re-booking and rectifications required
• Updating the system with any vehicle changes, damage reports or new documentation
• Liaise with colleagues and TfL over policy, procedures, and changes

• Close attention to detail, ability to check documentation to ensure it is accurate and check vehicles to ensure they are in line with licensing rules
• Excellent customer service skills
• Effective time management and organisational skills
• Strong report writing abilities
• Full clean UK driving licence

• Hours:
  
  Monday - Friday, 8 hours a day with potential for overtime and weekend working during busy periods
• Contract:
  
  Full time 40 hours per week

New starters will be subject to Disclosure and Barring Service clearance and a County Court Judgment check. The post holder is expected to keep the Company updated if personal circumstances change.
