Warehouse Operative​/Off - Shifts

Job Summary

We are looking for reliable and hardworking Warehouse Operatives to join our busy courier warehouse operation s role involves handling packages and freight, breaking down inbound shipments, sorting items by destination, and loading consignments onto conveyor belts for direct loading into delivery vans.

Key Responsibilities

• Sort parcels according to destination, route, or delivery area.
• Lift, move, and handle packages manually and place sorted parcels onto the correct conveyor/loading belt for dispatch.
• Ensure shipments are processed accurately and within operational deadlines.
• Keep the warehouse , organised, and free from hazards.
• Follow all health and safety procedures at all times.

Requirements:

• Good level of physical fitness and ability to lift and move parcels throughout the shift.
• Reliable, punctual, and hardworking.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Good communication skills.
• DBS and PCC (if living in the uk less than 5 years)
• 5 year check
• Right to work in the UK.

Desirable

• Previous warehouse or courier experience.
• Experience using warehouse scanners or handling freight.
• Forklift licence (not essential).
