Senior Midstream Accountant

Overview

Growing Midstream, Crude Oil / LNG Trading and Transportation company seeking a Senior Midstream Accountant as an addition to their team. This permanent position pays a market base plus annual bonus potential and excellent benefits, equity potential and a good work/life balance.

Base pay range: $80,000.00/yr - $/yr

Additional compensation:
Annual Bonus

• Report to the Senior Accounting Manager; perform full cycle crude oil and LNG accounting
• Receive tickets from markets, trucking companies and pipeline systems to prepare supplier run statements
• Prepare invoices, run statements, and other settlement documents
• Work with schedulers, marketers, contract analysts and other internal teams to resolve discrepancies
• Journal entries for cost of sales items, severance taxes, AR and AP
• File severance taxes for multiple states
• Prepare revenue distribution entries and reconcile monthly check register for interest owner payments
• Maintain database of active leases, pricing components and contracts

• Experience with crude oil settlements and experience handling the above duties
• LNG accounting experience a plus, not required
• Have a positive, upbeat, "can do" attitude; ability to work as a strong team member
