The Senior Tax Accountant is responsible for ensuring compliance with all tax obligations and supporting the development of a comprehensive tax strategy.

• Prepare the Yearly, Quarterly, and monthly filings for Sales and Use tax returns.
• Prepare the Yearly, Quarterly and Monthly filings of tangible and intangible property return.
• Assist implementation of Sales Tax Reporting software in new ERP.
• Work with outsource tax partner to ensure all deadlines including annual reporting are met.
• Coordinate Tax Audits directly with Tax Authorities with or without external support (preparing responses, creating schedules, etc.).
• Reconciling income Income Tax accounts and Sales Tax Accounts to ensure the correct booking of tax payments, provisions, credits, etc. on the balance sheet and P&L.
• Prepared and filed various annual business registrations.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or Finance.
• CPA preferred but not required.
• 5+ years of related experience.
• In-depth knowledge of US federal, state and local reporting and tax requirements in a holding company environment.
• Excellent tax accounting and analytical skills.
• Highly Functional in Office (Advanced Excel Skills a must).
• Proficiency in tax software, including Avalara sales tax software.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Ability to multi‑task and properly execute multiple simultaneous assignments under pressure and tight deadlines.
• Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills.
