What You’ll Be Doing Month‑End Close & Financial Reporting

• Lead the month‑end close process for multiple entities.
• Prepare complex journal entries (accruals, prepaids, intercompany).
• Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations.
• Monitor close timelines and resolve bottlenecks.

Compliance & Internal Controls

• Ensure journal entries and reconciliations are fully supported and audit‑ready.
• Assist in strengthening internal controls and SOX‑style documentation.
• Prepare quarterly VAT‑related reports for external stakeholders.

Accounting Operations Leadership

• Oversee AP, AR, Inventory Accounting, Fixed Assets, and Cash.
• Provide hands‑on support during peak periods or special projects.
• Drive accounting process improvements in partnership with the Controller.
• Ensure accurate general ledger coding and documentation standards.
• Lead, mentor, and develop accounting team members.

Treasury & Cash Management

• Monitor bank balances and cash availability.
• Review and approve ACH and check positive‑pay exceptions.

Audits & Lender Support

• Prepare audit schedules, reconciliations, and roll‑forwards.
• Respond to auditor and lender requests with clear documentation.
• Perform monthly petty cash and change fund audits.

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 3+ years of accounting leadership or supervisory experience.
• Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central experience (required).
• Manufacturing and/or inventory accounting experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of full‑cycle accounting and month‑end close.
• Detail‑oriented, analytical, and process‑driven.
• Confident communicator with a collaborative leadership style.
