• Prepare and reconcile U.S. Sales & Use Tax returns as well as Canadian GST/HST/QST filings.
• Maintain organized records of all tax filings, payments, and related documentation.
• Verify and track Canadian GST/QST vendor registration status.
• Collect, review, and maintain customer sales tax exemption certificates.
• Gather and manage vendor W-9 forms and ensure records are current.
• Prepare and issue annual 1099 forms.
• Support business license renewals and related filings.
• Assist with tax and business audits by compiling documentation and responding to information requests.
• Prepare and post journal entries for cash, fixed assets, accruals, prepayments, and other accounts.
• Reconcile general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data.
• Assist with month-end and year-end close activities, including financial statement preparation and analysis, while meeting key reporting deadlines.
• Perform financial and variance analyses to identify trends, discrepancies, and improvement opportunities.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred, but not required.
• 2+ years in a general ledger accounting related role.
• Experience with Sales & Use Tax

• Highly detail-oriented and deadline-driven.
