This is a full‑time, on‑site Bookkeeper position based in Houston, TX. The Bookkeeper will manage the financial records of the company, including maintaining accurate books on accounts payable and receivable, payroll, daily financial entries, and reconciliations. Responsibilities include preparing financial reports, managing invoices, handling general ledger entries, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. Additionally, the Bookkeeper will assist with budgeting, financial forecasting, and other administrative functions related to the company's financial health.
Qualifications- Strong knowledge of bookkeeping principles, financial reporting, accounts payable, and accounts receivable processes.
- Proficient in using bookkeeping and accounting software, such as Quick Books or similar tools.
- Outstanding organizational and time‑management skills for handling multiple financial tasks efficiently.
- Detail‑oriented with strong accuracy in data entry and reconciliations of accounts.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effectively working with colleagues and external stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, for financial analysis and reporting.
- Experience in financial forecasting and budget management is a plus.
- Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred; bachelor's degree or certifications (e.g., CPA or Bookkeeping Certification) are an advantage.
