Tax Manager

• Review and see to completion preparation of federal and state individual, corporate, partnership and trust tax returns of varying complexities
• Build and manage client relationships
• Develop, motivate, and train staff level team members
• Apply technical expertise to a client’s business and tax planning needs
• Manage IRS examinations and correspondence
• Keep up-to-date on current tax practices and changes in tax law
• Assist with new business development
• Thoroughly research tax issues and effectively communicate the results of your research
• Assist in the administration of our firm

• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• CPA certification
• 6 or more years of public accounting experience with at least 3 or more years supervising tax staff
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and be comfortable interfacing with clients
• Ability to work well in a team environment
