Senior Accountant

LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a well-established organization seeking a Senior Accountant to join its growing accounting team. This opportunity is ideal for an accounting professional who enjoys full-cycle accounting, financial reporting, and partnering with leadership while managing multiple entities in a complex operating environment.

• Own the month-end and year-end close process for assigned business units or entities.
• Prepare and distribute monthly financial statements, management reports, and reporting packages.
• Maintain the general ledger and ensure the accuracy of financial transactions and account balances.
• Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules.
• Support cash flow reporting, lender reporting, and financial analysis requests.
• Assist with audits, compliance initiatives, and special accounting projects.
• Partner with operational and finance leaders to communicate results and provide financial insights.
• Perform and reconcile intercompany transactions across multiple entities and business units.
• Resolve intercompany variances and ensure timely settlements between related entities.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure consistency in accounting practices across the organization.
• Gain exposure to complex ownership structures, joint ventures, and multi-entity reporting environments.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Strong understanding of general ledger accounting, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
• Experience with multi-entity accounting environments preferred.
• Hands-on experience with intercompany accounting and reconciliations is highly desirable.
• Advanced Excel skills and strong attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities while maintaining accuracy.
