Seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Cost Accountant to support our manufacturing operations in Houston. This role will be responsible for product costing, inventory accounting, variance analysis, budgeting support, and financial reporting for a high-volume manufacturing facility. The Cost Accountant will work closely with operations, supply chain, production, and finance teams to ensure accurate cost data, identify opportunities for efficiency improvements, and provide insights that support strategic decision-making.

Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
5-10 years of cost accounting experience in a manufacturing environment.
Strong understanding of inventory accounting, standard costing, and variance analysis.
Experience with ERP systems and advanced Excel skills.
Knowledge of GAAP and manufacturing accounting practices.
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Houston, TX.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $45.00 - $50.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
