Summary:

Energy Transfer is looking for an Accountant to join our Crude acconting team in Houston, Texas.  We encourage a culture of inquiry by always asking why, transforming data into meaningful information, and leveraging technology to streamline our processes.

Our Crude Accouting team is looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented professional to support the Crude Oil Acquisition and Marketing business.  This role is responsible for crude volume actualization, inventory reconciliations, payments of transportation expenses and analytical reporting.  The positon also supports settlements with customers, monitors and reconciles General Ledger accounts, and performs analysis  to ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial operational reporting.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, a commitment to process improvement, and the ability to collaborate effectively across operational, commercial, and accounting teams.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

To Perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job duty satisfactorily.  The requirements for this position are listed below:

Participate in monthly close process  and be involved in post close activities including actualizing crued oil volumes for pipeline/terminal locations and reconciling volumes to supporting statements.

Process and sbumit transportation payments related to pipeline and terminal activities.

Settle with external customers our monthly receivable and payables.  monitor our vendor an customer balances in SAP.Work cross-functionally with Scheduling, Trading, other crude accunting teams and Pipeline groups to ensure our team goals and objectives are achieved.

Coordinate and address requests from corporate (internal an dexternal) and 3rd party Customers, internal and external audits etc.

Maintain documentation and evidence of controls performed to ensure SOX compliance.

Initiate and implement system upgrade as needed (Right Angle).Identify opportunities to improve processes, controls, and operational efficiency through automation and system enhancements.
