Accounting Administrator
Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Administrator – General Ledger to support our accounting operations with a strong focus on Purchase Card (P-Card) reconciliation, General Ledger support, Accounts Payable processes, and financial data analysis.
This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with accounting, AP, reconciliation, bookkeeping, or finance experience who thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy working with large datasets, financial systems, and cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform P-Card reconciliations, investigate discrepancies, and ensure transactions are accurately recorded and properly documented.
- Analyze financial data using Excel (Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, formulas, and filters) to identify and resolve issues.
- Research purchase orders, invoices, suppliers, and payment information within Coupa, P21, and other accounting systems.
- Support General Ledger activities, month-end processes, and communication with field personnel regarding accounting-related inquiries.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in Accounting, Accounts Payable, General Ledger support, or financial reconciliations.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, and managing large datasets.
- Excellent attention to detail, analytical ability, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with P-Card reconciliations, Coupa, P21, or other ERP/procurement systems preferred.
Location:
NW Houston - ONSITE M-F
Salary: $59K - 63K + bonus (target 10%) + full benefits
