Financial Controller

Description Kforce is seeking a hands-on, high-execution Financial Controller for a direct-hire role starting by late October 2026 to lead year-end close and December audit preparations. The role requires occasional evening overlap with Australia and potential December travel.

Requirements
* Education & Credentials:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance; CPA (or equivalent) with Big Four or mid-tier public accounting training
* Leadership & Tenure: 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including Controller or Assistant Controller responsibilities
* Audit

Experience:

3+ years in external audit (running fieldwork) PLUS preparer-side experience for 2+ full-cycle statutory audits
* Technical Accounting:
Deep US GAAP expertise, practical ASC 606 (SaaS/subscription) and ASC 830 (multi-currency, translation, revaluation)
* Core Finance Operations:
Hands-on multi-entity consolidation, intercompany eliminations, transfer pricing, deferred revenue waterfalls, and tax coordination
* Execution Style:
Must personally perform month-end close, reconciliations, billing, and AR within a lean team environment

Experience with ARR, NRR, hardware/software hybrid streams, and Net Suite/Maxio tools
* International:
Exposure to UK, Australia, or New Zealand markets and managing offshore finance teams
