Financial Reporting Manager​/Senior Accountant

Global organization is adding staff to the team to report to the Director of Accounting. WFH on Friday! 100% paid for benefits. Flexible start time as early as 6:30AM. Paid parking downtown.

* IFRS is a plus, but not required as long as you understand financials. Privately held, but reporting for three entities. Will require overtime twice a month. ASC 606 or ASC 842 would be helpful for lease accounting.

The Financial Reporting Manager could also be qualified as a Senior Accountant. is responsible for the preparation, analysis, and distribution of the Company's financial statements and management reporting packages. This role ensures the timely and accurate reporting of financial results, supports internal and external audit requirements, and assists with financial analysis and reporting initiatives. The Financial Reporting Manager works closely with the Accounting Manager and Director of Accounting & Finance to provide meaningful financial information to support management decision-making.

• Lead the preparation and coordination of consolidated monthly, quarterly, and annual IFRS financial reporting packages and related management reports.
• Evaluate the financial reporting implications of complex transactions and collaborate with management to support appropriate accounting conclusions and
• Lead and enhance financial reporting processes, reporting controls, and key internal controls to support the completeness, accuracy, and consistency of IFRS and management reporting.
• Lead the preparation and coordination of audit deliverables and serve as the primary day-to-day contact for external auditors on financial reporting
• Review and analyze intercompany activity, consolidation adjustments, and key financial statement balances to support accurate and timely reporting.
• Lead the preparation of financial reporting analytics, including variance analysis of actual results against prior periods, budgets, and forecasts, and provide meaningful insights into key financial drivers, trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives related to financial reporting, reporting systems, consolidation processes, and close-to-report.
• Support annual budgeting and forecasting activities by providing financial reporting expertise, historical financial analysis, variance analysis, and insights into key business and financial trends.
• Support the development, maintenance, and implementation of accounting policies and procedures to ensure alignment with IFRS and Group reporting
• Support the maintenance, enhancement, and integrity of financial reporting systems, consolidation tools, and related reporting interfaces.
• Partner with senior management and assist the Finance Director with special projects, strategic initiatives, and reporting-related matters

• Bachelor’s Degree in finance, Accounting, or related field
• Minimum of ten (10) years’ experience in Accounting or related field
• CPA preferred, but not required.
