LHH Professional Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a publicly traded healthcare organization in Houston to identify an Assistant Controller to lead corporate accounting, consolidations and operational accounting functions. This is a high-impact role offering visibility across the entire organization.
Primary responsibilities of the Assistant Controller role include:
- Lead all aspects of financial reporting, consolidations, and month-end close (IFRS and GAAP)
- Implement and optimize accounting systems, controls, and process improvements.
- Partner with external advisors on tax strategy and regulatory matters.
- Serve as a key liaison between finance, executive leadership, and global stakeholders.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- 10+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience
- Proven track record in managing multi-entity consolidations and reporting
- Exceptional communication skills and ability to lead during change
