Staff Accountant

About the Role We're looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our growing accounting team. This role is an excellent opportunity to build a strong foundation across multiple areas of accounting while making a meaningful impact on the business. You'll work closely with finance and operational teams to ensure accurate financial reporting, support month-end close activities, and help maintain the integrity of the company's financial records.

Key Responsibilities Prepare and post journal entries and maintain general ledger accounts.

Perform account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.

Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes.

Support accounts payable and accounts receivable activities as needed.

Prepare financial reports, schedules, and supporting documentation.

Reconcile bank accounts, credit card statements, and balance sheet accounts.

Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis projects.

Support internal and external audits by gathering requested documentation.

Ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures.

Identify process improvements that enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business initiatives and financial objectives.
