Operational Finance Intern

Key responsibilities include:

• Assist with daily accounting operations such as data entry and account reconciliations
• Prepare and maintain financial records, spreadsheets, and supporting documentation
• Review, analyze, and reconcile general ledger accounts
• Support month-end closing activities
• Verify accuracy of financial data and identify discrepancies
• Organize and maintain accounting files in compliance with company policies
• Assist with fixed assets by gathering documentation and schedules
• Perform basic financial data analysis as assigned
• Use Excel to track and report financial information
• Adhere to confidentiality and internal control procedures
• Provide administrative and ad-hoc support to the accounting team
• Other duties as assigned by TAS

The company is looking for candidates with:

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
• Experience working as a member of a team
• Current enrollment in an accounting-related degree program

The position requires 80% to 95% desk work involving computer use. Occasional exertion of up to 10 pounds of force is needed for lifting or moving objects. Tasks include use of fingers, sitting, stooping, bending, crouching, talking, hearing, and repetitive motions. Visual acuity for color, depth perception, and field of vision is necessary for data preparation and analysis. The work environment is indoors.
