Roles & responsibilities (5 Days Working)
- Independently manage and finalise UK Year-End Accounting files from start to finish.
- Handle FTE client profiles independently, taking ownership of the complete year-end accounting process.
- Perform year-end reconciliations of bank accounts, VAT, payroll, and CIS.
- Identify and process necessary year-end adjustments to ensure accurate financial statements.
- Prepare clear, accurate, and self-explanatory working papers as per client expectations.
- Complete files within agreed timelines and meet client SLAs.
- Work with year-end accounting software such as IRIS, CCH, Tax Calc, and Case Ware.
- Maintain consistent quality benchmarks and ensure accuracy in preparing year-end accounts.
- Manage client-specific requirements and resolve year-end accounting queries independently.
- Compute corporation tax and deferred tax calculations and make provisions for the same.
- At least 2+ years of core UK year-end accounting experience.
- Min. Graduation in commerce / M.Com / ACCA / CA / Inter CA / CMA.
- Relevant experience in UK Year-End Accounting and finalisation.
- Ability to independently handle an FTE client profile with end-to-end ownership.
- Strong knowledge of bank, VAT, payroll, and CIS reconciliations.
- Hands-on experience with year-end accounting software such as IRIS, CCH, Tax Calc, or Case Ware.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining high-quality standards.
