Own and continuously improve month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring accuracy, efficiency and timely reporting.
Oversee accounts receivable, collections, accounts payable, payments and tax compliance, working closely with the accounting team and external advisors.
Lead group consolidation across multiple entities and currencies, including FX accounting and intercompany eliminations.
Drive IFRS adoption and establish consistent group accounting policies, technical accounting documentation and reporting standards.
Develop and maintain an effective internal control framework appropriate for a growing, investor-backed international business.
Lead statutory audits and coordinate local statutory reporting requirements, ensuring the group remains audit-ready throughout the year.
Partner closely with FP&A on monthly management accounts, financial analysis and board and investor reporting.
Help shape and improve our finance systems infrastructure, including accounting, billing, consolidation and payment processes.
Identify opportunities to simplify and automate financial operations, reducing manual work and improving accuracy and scalability.
Introduce practical AI and automation solutions across areas such as reconciliations, invoice processing, financial controls and reporting.
Work across teams to ensure financial processes and systems support the needs of a growing, international business.
Significant experience in financial controllership or senior group accounting roles, ideally within a high-growth SaaS or technology business.
Strong technical accounting expertise, particularly IFRS, group consolidation and multi-entity, multi-currency reporting.
A proven track record of building, improving or scaling accounting operations, ideally within a VC- or PE-backed business.
Experience in external audit, ideally with a Big Four background, and a strong understanding of statutory audit requirements.
A recognised accounting qualification such as ACA, ACCA, CPA or equivalent.
Experience implementing or improving financial processes, internal controls and finance systems.
A strong interest in technology, AI and automation, with practical experience using these to improve financial operations.
Experience leading and developing accounting teams, with the ability to introduce change while maintaining operational stability.
A hands-on, proactive…
