We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Events Assistant to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in supporting the planning and execution of a wide range of events, from corporate meetings to large-scale community functions. As an Events Assistant, you will work closely with the Events Coordinator to help ensure that all aspects of the events run smoothly and efficiently.
Responsibilities- Assist in planning and organizing events from conception to execution.
- Coordinate logistics such as catering, venue selection, and equipment rentals.
- Manage event registrations and maintain participant lists.
- Communicate with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of services and products.
- Assist with marketing efforts for events, including the creation of promotional materials and social media posts.
- Provide on-site support during events, including setup, breakdown, and attendee assistance.
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Public Relations, Event Management, or a related field.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and event management software.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a customer service-oriented mindset.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Familiarity with social media platforms and digital marketing tools
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
