Job Summary

Independence Marketing Group is seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Contracting Specialist - Administrative Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will be the main point of contact for our agents, ensuring a smooth and efficient contracting experience. You will handle communications, manage documentation, and provide support throughout the contracting process. Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Communication:
    Manage inbound and outbound calls and emails from agents, providing clear and courteous assistance during the contracting process.
  • Documentation Management:
    Organize and maintain both physical and electronic records, ensuring all paperwork is accurate and up-to-date.
  • Contracting Support:
    Serve as a knowledgeable resource for agents on carrier contracting and certification requirements.
  • Agent Onboarding:
    Guide new agents through the onboarding process, making it smooth and straightforward.
  • Problem Resolution:
    Address agent inquiries and resolve issues promptly via phone, email, and online meetings.
  • Core Values Alignment:
    Demonstrate our company's values in all interactions and decisions.
  • Adaptability:
    Work both independently and collaboratively, adapting to new systems and processes as needed.
Qualifications
  • Bilingual (English & Spanish required).
  • Customer service experience: 1‑2 years in customer service, account management, or a similar field is preferred.
  • Technical skills:
    Proficiency in CRM systems, Microsoft Office, and Adobe software; willingness to learn new technologies.
  • Attention to detail:
    Strong organizational skills and accuracy.
  • Self‑starter and team player:
    Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and collaborate effectively with colleagues.
  • Preferred:
    Experience with Medicare or insurance contracting.
