This is a full-time, remote role that will be based in Texas and will report to the Manager, EC.
What You’ll Do Here- Assist with pre-close and post-close document preparation and tasks in support of the Escrow and Closing teams
- Coordinate the collection of key documents and information from customers and external providers
- Order payoffs, surveys, and home warranties
- Prepare preliminary settlement statements and process lender title requests
- Review contracts, commitments, and orders to ensure all information is correct in preparation for the closing
- Identify issues pertaining to the contract and title commitment
- Strategize on curative matters
- Assemble all necessary documents to prepare files and closing packages
- Manage data and document storage: transmit, scan, and file into appropriate systems
- Coordinate closing time and location with customers and notaries
- Work within strict deadlines to ensure closings happen on time
- 3+ years of experience as an Escrow Assistant or Escrow Coordinator, with a solid understanding of the closing process from start to finish. Exceptional customer service skills — both verbal and written — and take pride in building strong, positive relationships with clients, colleagues, and partners.
- Strong technical skills and confidence working with escrow and title platforms (such as Qualia) as well as other digital tools that streamline workflow.
- A resourceful approach to problem solving, where you take initiative and have a proactive mindset.
- A knack for understanding complex, multi-step processes and how your role contributes to the success of the entire team.
- An ability to thrive in a collaborative environment, embodying the mindset of “Team Before Self.”
- A passion for innovation, are open to learning new systems, and are comfortable adapting to change in a fast-paced setting.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and consistency in every task.
