The K Corporation is a Houston-based financial services firm serving retirement plans, businesses, professionals, and families.
We're looking for a highly organized, technology-comfortable professional who enjoys keeping projects moving, solving problems, improving processes, and helping a team operate efficiently.
This is not a sales role.
We can teach retirement plans. We can teach our workflows and systems.
What is much harder to teach is:
- Accountability
- Ownership
- Organization
- Follow-through
- A collaborative, team-first attitude
If you're the type of person who naturally tracks details, follows up without being reminded, learns new technology quickly, and takes pride in helping a team succeed, we'd like to meet you.
What you will do- Coordinate client requests and service needs
- Schedule meetings and employee education sessions
- Prepare reports, meeting materials, and follow-up items
- Track projects and outstanding requests
- Maintain organized client records and files
- Support operational improvements and special projects
- Work with firm leadership and team members across retirement plan consulting, financial planning, and client service activities
We're looking for someone who is comfortable using technology to stay organized and work efficiently.
Strong experience with Microsoft 365 is important, including:
- Outlook
- Excel
- Word
- Power Point
- Teams
Experience with SharePoint, Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude, CRM systems, project management software, or other business technology is a plus, but not required.
We're more interested in your ability to learn new systems than in experience with any specific platform.
What Makes Someone Successful Here?- Takes ownership of responsibilities
- Follows projects through to completion
- Works well with others
- Adapts when priorities change
- Looks for ways to improve processes
- Understands that great client service requires preparation, organization, and follow-through
- Monday-Thursday: 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
- Friday: 9:00 AM to 3:30 PM
Hybrid schedule available after onboarding and training.
Generally, team members work in the office three days per week and remotely two days per week.
$40,000-$55,000 annually, depending on experience
Plus:
- Health Insurance
- Vision Insurance
- Life Insurance
- Short-Term Disability
- Long-Term Disability
- 401(k) Profit Sharing Plan
- Paid Holidays
- Paid Time Off
Experience in administrative support, client service, operations, project coordination, financial services, employee benefits, or retirement plans is helpful, but not required.
We're willing to train the right person.
