Purchasing Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Purchasing Coordinator to manage purchase orders, coordinate with the sales team, and communicate shipping information to customers.

• Process purchase orders using Quick Books (QB).
• Receive purchasing information from the sales team to determine items that need to be ordered.
• Review and track order acknowledgments from vendors.
• Prepare and send customer correspondence with shipping information and order updates.
• Maintain accurate purchasing and order records in Quick Books.
• Learn and utilize vendor-specific ordering systems to place orders directly.
• Ensure all vendor orders and purchasing information are accurately entered into Quick Books.
• Coordinate with internal teams and vendors to ensure timely and accurate order processing.

• Experience with Quick Books preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple orders and prioritize tasks.
• Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn new software systems.
• Previous experience in purchasing, order processing, or administrative support preferred.
