Minimum Education:
High School Diploma/G.E.D.Minimum 3+ Years of experience in data entry.
Maintain strong skills in diplomacy, professionalism, and trustworthiness.
Strong communication skills in both oral and written.

Knowledge of practice management software is desired.
Familiarity with computers and Windows PC applications, especially Microsoft Excel.
The ability to learn new computer systems and applications.
Experience handling mail and office supplies preferred.
Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
Type 45-60 WPM.JOB RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIESThe Charge Entry Specialist should expect to work frequently with a computer entering various data sets.
Entering data into a health information system is a core function of the job.
Process and prep all written documents to be mailed.
Track daily work (mail, scanning, letters) via weekly log.
Performs clerical tasks in the data processing and mailing function.
Meet the performance goals established for the position in the areas of efficiency, accuracy, quality, member satisfaction, and attendance.
Performs other duties as assigned by the department manager.
