Group 1 Ford of Southwest Houston is part of the fast growing Group 1 Automotive, a leader in automotive retail and service. We are growing and looking to add Quality Automotive Technicians (from Experienced to Entry Level) to work with our Quality Dealership
, representing the Quality Ford Product! Our Service Technicians should be passionate about customer service, take pride in their work, and enjoy being part of a winning team that cares about their employees.
- Perform high-quality repairs efficiently and accurately, following dealership and factory standards
- Conduct comprehensive diagnostics, troubleshooting, and testing on automotive systems
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Road-test vehicles to verify successful repairs
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures
- Provide timely updates to service advisors on repair status and estimated completion times for customer communication.
- Participate in ongoing training to stay current with evolving automotive technology
- Uphold company values in all interactions with customers, coworkers, and vendors
- Proven experience as a flat‑rate (flag) technician, or completion of (or active enrollment in) an automotive training program (including high school, technical school, or post‑secondary)
- Ford/Lincoln manufacturer certifications or ASE certifications are a big plus!
- A positive & friendly attitude

- Communication skills
- Basic computer skills
- Strong desire to provide an exceptional client experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must have a valid driver’s licence
