Position: Sales Manager (1)

Join Our Growing Team! Sednair seeks a Sales Manager for our newly opened office in Northern Houston, TX.

Job Summary:

The Sales Manager will be responsible for sales growth and business development activities for Sednair products in North America (US and Canada). The Sales Manager will utilize their technical expertise and will coach, mentor, and guide a high-performance sales team to grow the market share, revenue, and distributor business relationships. The Sednair product portfolio consists primarily of Centrifugal Air Compressor, compressor parts, and overhaul services.

Responsibilities:
  • Analyze market and customer needs to discover new business opportunities and growth areas.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies and business plans to expand market share and achieve sales targets in North America.
  • Monitor sales performance and KPIs, identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Recruit and expand distribution partners and sales team. Provide training and guidance to improve the team's performance.
  • Collaborate with Marketing and Product Management on pricing, product specifications, and new product potential. Sharing insights on trends, competition, and strategic opportunities.
  • Travel & Work Arrangements/Requirements:
  • This is a hybrid position with travel up to 50%
  • Evenings as needed, weekends as needed
  • Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, or business with equivalent experience in technical sales and 10+ years of sales leadership experience and working for a manufacturer or distributor.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Centrifugal Air Compressors and relevant industrial-related knowledge and standards.
  • Proved experience using data to drive sales team performance and success.
  • Understanding of commercial issues including payment terms, shipping terms, and contract terms and conditions review.
  • Reliable transportation. Willing to attend trade shows. Must be willing and able to travel
  • Self-motivated with ability to work with limited supervision. Independent decision maker as needed to accomplish tasks.

    Pay:
