Job Summary
As an Operations Manager supporting UHY’s National Specialty Tax Services within the R&D Tax Credits practice, you will oversee the daily functions and processes of ensuring efficiency, productivity, and quality to support business goals. You will manage process optimization, resource allocation, staff supervision, budgeting, and quality control across multiple reporting regions.
Job Description- Allocate resources and oversee regional operations to ensure alignment, accountability, and timely delivery of products.
- Monitor staff performance utilizing appropriate management tools and methodologies.
- Identify and mitigate risks, dependencies, and issues to maintain established timelines.
- Serve as the primary liaison across regions, ensuring consistent communication and providing real‑time follow‑up so that clients and prospects receive timely attention and no opportunities are missed.
- Support regional leaders by interpreting key metrics and preparing accurate, comprehensive reports.
- Manage pre‑engagement activities and maintain prospect tracking to support pipeline visibility.
- Ensure all deliverables meet organizational standards for quality, accuracy, and consistency.
- Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and standardization.
- Lead and supervise subordinate team members.
Work is conducted in a professional office environment with minimal distractions.
Physical Demands- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and performing work in front of a computer screen for long periods of time.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at a time.
Limited travel may be requested for attending events, conferences, or internal meetings.
Required Education And Experience- Bachelor’s degree in any field.
- 3+ years of relevant experience.
- Proficiency in Excel.
- Proven ability to manage multiple operations with competing deadlines.
- PMP or similar certification.
- Ability to analyze data and make data‑driven decisions.
